Two things - hold your nerve until end of April and beginning of May and be happy to fly into Miami.

The last couple of years there are some great indirect (one stop) bargains at this time and we intend booking - probably to somewhere else though - again next year at this time. Last year we booked at the beginning of May and got flights Man - LHR - Mia for £370 each. Book into a hotel for a night at the beginning of your hols and drive up the next morning when you are up at the crack of dawn anyway. You don't need to book a hotel on the way back. Just make a morning start for your late afternoon flight and visit Fort Lauderdale or Miami for a few hours for a break before you head to the airport. The bargains are there if you want them
