Well done to both of you who managed to get it free - I also rang up late yesterday afternoon but haven't heart yet.
Interestingly, I just went in to try and make another (dummy) booking for the No. 1 Lounge at Gatwick as I was going to tell my brother about it but it's not available to book at the moment - reckon they must have had a lot of claims yesterday |

Hi Olaf38
in simple terms Holiday Extras offer Lounges, airport hotels and parking deals. If you find it cheaper elsewhere then they offer it for free and refund you the cost. You call them with your request, they give you the price and you book it there and then. You then inform them you've found it cheaper, they email a form and you fill it in with a screenshot (all very simple as electronic) of your cheaper deal and they refund the cost to you after you have used the lounge/hotel/parking so in effect its free. so you don't ever book the cheaper deal you book with them but get it refunded. As my husband says they would rather give you it for free than you go elsewhere Hope that kind of makes sense. This thread is just discussing who got what I think and the lounges are certainly being given for free as I had mine agreed this morning. So my £100 (what I paid HE for the lounge) will be refunded back to me after 6th April 3-5 days after Ive used it as I had found a deal on FHR that was £90 for my dates and times Hope that makes sense Edited at 11:33 AM. |

You learn quickly! Ive only been once before but the things you learn on here are amazing. the lounges are fine, busy from what I can gather so I wouldn't pay for one but if its free then Im happy! lots of drinks and snacks to help yourself too, wifi and comfy chairs. Just keep reading and asking
