BBC/shocking coverage tonight of games,

Firstly they completely missed the final sprint between gb and Poland in the 4x400 metres all we got was the commentary, and a picture of the finishing line,no action?... then usain bolt may have well not been there as the BBC went off on something else, or is it just me?, bondy.

I agree - quite unusual for them I think, as IMHO opinion their coverage is good normally.

Just as with the Olympics, the BBC do not provide the TV coverage, they are just showing what the IAAF are presenting them with - so the relay cock up was not theirs.

In actual fact it's an ITV company providing the pictures for the IAAF to all the broadcasters around the world.

Agree about the 4 x 400 but I think Beeb had no choice re Usian as the "stadium" were doing the coverage of his farewell - Ewan Thomas was getting all the athletes first as part of the stadium team. EDIT - I stand corrected the IAAF xx

I think the Beeb were hoping Usian would come into their studio (Gabby mentioned it earlier).

Not ITN Productions yet, the contract doesn't start until next year. These championships are being produced by Sunset and Vine.
