Struggling to ring UK

We are in Florida and want to ring Disney UK but failing miserably 🤦 (We want to change our 2023 booking)
Non of our mobile phones will do it (we only have basic sim cards) Universal no longer have pay phones, we can’t ring UK with the villa phone.
Are we missing something really obvious 🤷 We are trying the correct UK code etc

Silly question but are you putting 011 or a + before the 44 country code? And dropping the first 0 from the number?

Could you try going to a Disney Guest Services location either in the parks or at Disney Springs and asking to use their phone?

I am not sure what my husband has done, I will ask him though. He did successfully ring our bank in the UK. He asked at guest services (Universal) if he could use their phone, explained that it was an urgent bank issue and they let him use it. So whatever code he is using is correct. We can’t ask them to ring Disney though 😂😂 can you imagine 😂😂 🙈🙈

Its the same reason those of us in Ireland can not ring the Disney UK number. Its a geo cached number which can only be used in The UK.

Also Disney America is a different company to Disney UK. The same way the Walt Disney World official website defaults to the UK version in the UK but will be the USA version in Florida.

The UK Walt Disney Travel Company is just a third party travel agency set up by Disney for the UK market. Its not the same as the booking direct through the Walt Disney official website

Do they still sell the international phone cards in the local shops. Before mobiles we always used them with the villa phone as they connect to a US free number first.
