Mobile Anyone remember

Anyone remember when Hollywood studios had who wants to be a millionaire show? We did it a few times and the first time we saw it ,I wasn't paying attention and didn't realise that it was all timed when you pressed the answers, until someone lost and the next fastest finger first took their place.
I was in no hurry to key my answers in but was still 2nd on the scoreboard.
Good job really as the guy that got 1st went on to play and his questions were so hard. I would have looked like a right idiot

Yes, we did it once. Didn’t get through but found the questions very American based anyway and just in the audience watching we couldn’t answer many. So just as well none of us got through 😁!

I had a go at it in 2002 but was absolutely rubbish. I think the park was called MGM Studios back then but I could be wrong.

We loved that show. After we realised that the only way to get through was to pick random numbers & be lucky, my DH managed to get through. They were all American questions but He got to 500k question mostly by ‘playing’ the audience eg “hmm, it might be B” cue audience groans - until the host told him off. Lol. We’ve still got the cap, polo shirt, lanyard & pins in the attic.
One Star Wars weekend, we were picked to sit in the fastest finger section & met Warwick Davis who was partnering contestants. He was really nice & gave signed photos to my girls. We had various costume actors in the audience & when the host asked a contestant “ who sold C-3PIO & R2D2 to the Lars family, two stormtroopers came in & arrested 2 Jawas sat in the audience. It was great fun, I still miss that attraction. It was nice to see a different show every time.

I have odd memories of that. Was September 11th 2001. DH (18 at the time) was selected and went up to answer the questions. Did quite well but came unstuck on whether a divan was a sofa or a bed. Came out of the show and the park was being shut down with everyone being ushered out with reports of something having happened to the World Trade Centre. Like I say, bittersweet memories of that attraction ☹️
