When are you cruising in August? We sail on the 17th.
Same as me and DD. The 5 night Wonder. Hey good stuff. This is my first ever DCL cruise. We are staying for 14 nights at POFQ first.

Looks like we're on the same trip!
It's our 1st cruise too.
We're staying at BLT for 2 weeks before the cruise. We stayed at POR last year and friends of ours stayed at POFQ. It's a great resort.
So exciting isn't it?

We will have to have our own mini DIBB cruise meet. :}

Well I am quite excited, but there seems to be an awful lot to think about. We leave POFQ on the 16th so will need to book an overnight hotel near to the terminal, and then will be dropping ther hire car off somewhere, which I haven't even booked yet and then re-hiring a car to take us back to Orlando for 1 night on our return. Then there are the excursions to book, and then another hotel to book back in Orlando for 1 night before our flight homw. Aghhh!

BLT wow! We stayed in the Contemporary last Oct, but have decided to go back to POFQ this Summer as we liked it so much last Summer. Not sure if I did the right thing. To be honest I just kept going around in circles. LOL!

... its less than an hours drive from Orlando to the port, and car hire drop off is pretty quick & straight forward (allow min 15 mins - max 30 mins)...you may find it less disruptive to stay in Orlando until the morning of the cruise ? - less packing and unpacking and moving around !

The DCL terminal does not open until 10-10.15am...so you can leave Orlando 8.30am -9.00am and still have plenty of time to be able enjoy the terminal and board the ship early if travelling there by hire car.

PS The ship comes into port about 5am ...so not much point in going there the day before to watch that !... though you could see the Magic sail away 5pm Saturday evening, if you are picking up the Wonder cruise on a Sunday.

No kids with us so go for the adult beach. That's heaven and a terrific BBQ lunch with rum punch!

Mini Dibb cruise meet it is then Carolyn!

We check out of BLT on the 17th and will drive up on the morning of the cruise. It's our first ever cruise and our 1st stay at BLT - celebrating my DH's 40th which was December just gone and my 40th which is next December.
Can't wait!

Love that beach picture Geoffa!

Good to know that others are getting their Fed-Ex envelopes too - helps to add to the excitement.

Ok then Lindsey. We have a plan. We can have a little mini DIBB meet which will be fun. Fedex didn't deliver my parcel today despite promising to. I now have to wait until tomorrow :{ I'm itching to see what's in it.
