DCL Dover to Barcelona - Invoice Received but not going

As the title says - I have received a confirmation invoice this morning from DCL.

I held the cabin on 3rd January but unfortunately we can't go so I didnt go back on to the website to pay my deposit, but now I have got this invoice/confirmation.

I have tried to enter my reservation number but it keeps coming up not recognised, please can someone put my mind at rest that this booking was cancelled after 5 days as stated on their website!

I emailed them and asked them to cancel my room on the 5th day, I got a reply the following day stating it was cancelled. Maybe it;s worth dropping them an email?

I had rooms on hold with DCL but then i decided to book it through DU instead to get the onboard credit.
I didn't contact DCL as i assumed it would just cancel itself after 5 days, that was last week and i've not received any emails from them.

It wasn't an email, it came through the post. Oh dear, dh is not going to be very happy with me

You will be fine- what is the date on the invoice. Was it dated after you cancelled it? If it isn't recognising your reservation number, it will have cancelled it. The invoices take ages to come out - it probably just got crossed in the post between you reserving and cancelling. Why don't you ring them to put your mind at rest?

I have just got a booking confirmation through the post too - dated 5th January, and I cancelled on the 10th. I am going to assume that since I have paid them no money, I have no cruise booked. Sadly
