Question Reliant Car rental

Hi all,

Has anyone used Reliant Car Rental in Orlando - I usually use Alamo/Budget/Dollar but prices for September are currently very high, however these guys are located on McCoyRd just a 5 minute shuttle ride from MCO and are coming in at £300 cheaper. Instantly my default setting is "if it sounds too good to be true then it is!" But I wondered had anyone used them in the past and what you'd thought of them?

TIA

Personally never heard of them but that's not to say there's anything wrong.

However if it's through a USA site I'd just be very cautious and make sure it includes all the necessary insurances especially CDW with no excess and $1m SLI

Mick

PS If it's Reliant Car Rental it's coming up as a none secure site but it seems you have to add insurance but I can't see how much the LI (assume that to be SLI) cover is. Personally I wouldn't touch a car hire that didn't include full insurance

I've just checked the google maps review of the place, they are less than flattering.

I have a vision of holiday makers leaving the airport area in a three wheeler with the suitcases hanging out the back and in my head I can hear that familiar theme tune 'I'll fetch the suitcase from the van... '

It sure is an unfortunate name for a car rental company as far as us Brits are concerned!

Don't suppose a classic BBC comedy has crossed la Manche?

you'd be surprised what crossed the channel

when I was younger, Mr Benny Hill was on French TV every sunday night (we only had 3 tv channels at that time). Mr Sinclair and Wilde were very "persuading" too, and Roger Moore was a Saint.
I was raised to the adventures of Patrick McGoohan trying to escape an island.
I've voyaged through time and space with a madman in a box that was much bigger on the indise and burned both ends of the Torchwood
I've spilled the Beans with Mister Atkinson and rode the Tube with a bear named Paddington, and caused diplomatic incidents with a guy named Clarkson , and then confessed to my crimes to Father Ted at next door's Office
Was glued to the TV when Purdey was already an Avenger, and before she became Absolutely Fabulous.

well ... I'll stop it here, you get the point

Blimey you've watched more UK TV than I have.

Sadly (I hope I'm not attacked for saying this ) the likes of Benny Hill won't be made anymore.

I have wondered though whether "Allo allo" made it over there and what you made of Officer Crabtree's appalling French?
