When we get home I am going to post about the research I have done nightly ref ADR availability for that day.
Very interesting. I no longer worry about bookings and chop and change constantly even up to an hour before the reservation time.

We do tend to book in advance as we are a large party, always 8+ sometimes 13,and have 2 sons with asd who like to know where they are eating!.,if I had a small party say 5 or less then I would research but not necessarily book till nearer the time

Actually, I will fight for a table at Space 220 next year but that's it. Ohana was such a disappointment that I don't plan on going back. Apart from that, my favourite restaurants are not the "must-do" ones (which are over hyped and disappointing anyway). Love Signature restaurants but they tend to be better and less busy at resorts (exception: Monsieur Paul in Epcot - amazing, and Tiffins, which I really really want to try).

It’s interesting about Ohana. I always feel bad we haven’t done it, but the food doesn’t appeal at all. Have read a few reviews supporting that.
Spice Road would have been my no.1 choice. But not good for my daughter. I’m still going to book as much as I can. My husband is a pain unless we have things set in stone too. I also don’t want to miss fireworks etc by not eating early enough. I also always found later seatings easier to find than earlier ones. |

I know what you mean. We did it once and it wasn't for us. However I can see why places like that and BOG etc etc are popular.
Those type of places do need to be booked bang on the 180 day mark to guarantee you can dine there.
