I had also read that dues could be less as the resorts have not been used as much, less house keeping, maintenance required etc. So I was a little dismayed when I read the figures.

Feel the same as you. Was expecting some sort of refund for 2020.
Luckily have already put enough $ into my DVC account to cover 2021 fees.

Nice Christmas/New Year present, depending on currency rate that's approx £3350 to hand over, can't even make a new booking until the current madness ceases. Really feeling down, I know we would have this cost anyway but just seems so brutal at the moment.

I still think there will be some sort of credit on the Dues statement when it arrives, It won't be big though most probably.

I think you’ve just received the statement that many of us have had in the last couple of weeks which is talking about the increases for next year. As it’s next years bill they can’t incorporate any refund from this past year in those figures.
The actual invoice to pay for this last year, which would include any refund we may or may not receive, doesn’t come out until December 👍 Edited at 08:34 AM. |

I didn't think they could send the actual bill out until it is confirmed at the AGM in December?

How are we all playing it with the dues? I've paid about what I consider 90% upfront. Holding back on the last 10% incase there is a credit (as i'd rather keep it than roll it into 2021), but at the same time the exchange rate is 1.33 at the moment... Tempting to pay a bit more.

We have a small bill (we only have 100 points) and so I use our council tax budget to pay most (our council collects 10 instalments so our Feb and Mar budget goes on dues) and then we only have to find a bit extra (maybe £100).
It means I am less concerned about exchange rate than others with bigger bills.

I have literally just paid another $600. However I will still have over a grand to pay off in January.
However we have a lot of Points so it's always best to drip feed through the year. I also use a Credit Card that gives cashback.
