Dibb gardeners ... is this the final cut ?
The lawn needs some TLC in the spring , but is this the final cut of the year? Or will a trim be required before Spring? |

Leave it. Its too wet to cut now. Patio looks great BTW!
Mine is a wreak. New fence has trashed the garden. I’m going to redesign parts in the Spring.

I did last cut about 7 days ago after a few days of dry weather. That's it done for the winter, mower being collected in December for its winter overhaul ready for the spring.

I thought we had done the last cut recently, but I think ours needs one more. I would think you can leave it now though.

Dave is obsessed by lawn mowing. He has an old fashioned hand mower too. Keeps him quiet!

Yes lots to do in the spring... fencing needs to change to charcoal grey
Patio- Thank you. Having difficulty sourcing posts/wire or post/glass for edging to finish off. Outrageous prices atm. Anyone have any suggestions of good suppliers? Very pleased with patio though it’s opened everything up. Hopefully that’s last cut then! Edited at 12:44 PM. |

We have a gardener and he came last week and said that was it until Spring now.
It had been nearly a month between his visits and it hadn’t grown much but looks all set to winter over now

I will probably do a few more cuts through the winter. As much to collect some remaining leaves as anything.

Cut the grass when it needs it. We've cut ours between Christmas and New Year in the past, just make sure it's as dry as possible and use a longer cut so it has some protection against frost.
