We got back from Spain yesterday to rain, rain and terrible traffic in the M23 and M25! I was freezing in bed and only just got in this morning from a food shop and it’s raining again here.

It’s sending me into a state of confusion having the central heating turn itself on. I do quite like it though!

Our heatings on too, so lovely in the morning! Just got DD from school, (geography trip), she was bedraggled but pleased she'd worn her walking boots. Cup of tea, choccy biscuit and hot shower as I'm texting! She had a good time though, esp eating chips in the pub (keeping warm I was told!) 😀

I hate this weather, I hate wearing tights in June, (I am sure that's a first apart from weddings and funerals), I hate not wearing nice summery clothes and fit flips and I hate my hair which looked great in the hairdressers but went flat in the rain! I am definitely a summer person! And I am going to hate paying the heating bill too!

Me and doggy sitting on the sofa reclining and she’s asleep on my lap, it’s lovely but feels like November. My sons moving to Canada next week for one to two years to live with his GF. I am washing and tumble drying everything, hope it don’t all shrink!

I am a person who needs the sunshine. It just lifts my whole mood. I am so fed up of the rain. According to my local weather forecast it’s going to rain every day this week and it’s rained pretty much every day since we had “summer” for about two days over Easter. 😖
