Our 15th Wedding Anniversary Trip - Day 7 - Discovery Cove

Had a little lay in and then got a taxi to Discovery Cove. After we arrived we staked out or spot in the shade and went for a look around.

We did swimming with the Dolphins last year so didn't bother this year

We had breakfast and then a look at the birds first

Then we had a break and a sit down complete with frozen lemonade and frozen cocktails

We then did the lazy river and the reef. There are not many photos to share as I took most of them on my underwater cameras.

We had lunch and went for a walk before going swimming again and then unfortunately a storm hit and everything was postponed. My son was scared of the thunder and lightning so we left.

Was a shame as we only got half a day so didn't really get our money's worth

We went back to hotel and then decided to go to madam tussuds. Wasn't as good as the London one, but ok to kill 40mins

Finally we went to the worlds largest McDonald's.

Even that was complicated and I have been gong to them all my life in the UK!

Early start tomorrow off to Hollywood studios for Star Wars weekend

Shame the weather cut your day short at discovery cove . We have tickets for madam tussauds but they were freebies if it isn't that great I won't be too gutted lol, we plan on it being a bit of a time filler really. Cannot begin to tell you how much my kids are wanting to go to the biggest McDonald's sure I read on here though it might've been rebuilt by the time we get there?. Enjoy the Star Wars weekend
