Meal planning

Following on from Snowball24's post about food planning budgets, I really do need to try and spend less on food and plan a lot more as I do seem to throw a lot of food out at the end of the week.

Sooooo, I am looking for inspiration for some nice meals that don't cost the earth and are fairly quick to make (up to about 45 minutes is probably my limit).

I am not really into very spicy food and I can't eat eggs (I know, I am very strange) but other than that, anything goes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

We had these chicken pancakes last night and they are amazing. Especially handy if you fancy take away but are trying to be slightly healthier and spend less!

I use Pinterest for all my meal plans and recipe ideas.

It is a fabulous website for inspiration.

I made this in my slow cooker last week and it was lovel, just as good as a takeaway.

We are on week 3 of a 4 week meal plan. We just sat down and went through everything we ate and managed to come up with 4 weeks worth.
Ours includes:
Stir fry
Beef stroganoff,
Chicken curry
fajitas
Spag boll
Lamb Casserole
Chicken Casserole
Sausage casserole
Various Sunday dinners
slow cooked gammon
Homemade Lamb burgers
Omlette
Homemade pizza
Meatballs and pasta
Corned beef Hash
Cooked breakfast for dinner
Chicken Kiev
Risotto (we like pancetta and butternut squash)
Chicken burgers
Cottage pie (with sweet potato mash)
Shepherds pie
Slow cooker cheesy wedges with chicken and bacon
Mince and onions
Quiche

We have factored in 2 takeaways a month and slow cooker meals for my busy work days. I've also got a list of fish meals for if my husband is away as he hates fish and I love it!
