Castaway Cay Shop
We are doing our first cruise in September and whilst in Castaway Cay we will undoubtedly be making a few purchases from the shop. Do you need to take cash or can you charge to the room?

Yep as with the shops onboard its all room charges no cash for any purchases. You can add cash to your room balance however if you wanted to use cash rather than a credit card.

I think you need cash for the post office if you want yo send a postcard but everything else can be charged. Looks like we go before you so will check as I intend to buy stuff when there 😀

We sent ourselves a postcard from the post office as a souvenir - that was cash.
You will love Castaway Cay - best private island run by cruise ships we have been to

The PO won't take any cash higher than a $20 bill either, so try to get $1, make life easier.
And don't be surprised if it's shut, it's not run by DCL and the Bahamian boys don't work to a schedule despite what the open/close sign says! :angry:
