I’m waiting to see if travel/entry is allowed and will then book a 7/10 trip for September (our 3 week trip had to be cancelled for May). We don’t do Disney anymore so won’t have to worry about what they’re doing. Will make decisions about SW and US nearer the time.
I’m actually starting to feel hopeful that it could happen. |

At the moment we are still booked to go on the 16th September. I can’t actually see that happening, but I don’t want to make any decisions until I know fully what our options are.
So we are just biding our time and are waiting for the Disney announcement. I think my gut feeling is that we will end up pushing our holiday back to next year, and reducing out accommodation from AKL to POFQ as the cost of AKL for next year is so much higher.

We go on the 12th September for 14 days. Staying in a villa with one or two nights at Royal Pacific Resort to ensure we can get into Universal and also for the Express Passes.
We are confident and will go providing we physically can.

I was due to fly LGW to MCO with Virgin on 28th September to stay at POFQ, I changed my flights to an open ticket yesterday which I can rebook up to September 2022.
I hope to go next November, I'm waiting on any news if we'll get a 35% discount for rebooking next year. If we don't I think I'll lower my resort to an All Star resort and use the difference to pay towards food! |

Due to fly 16th but like others waiting to see what carrot Disney are going to dangle. I know 100% we won't be going & are planning for May but if Disney aren't offering anything, we did have free DDP, we will move offsite as we would drop to a Moderate but also can save at least £1000/week
POFQ 9 Nights £2400 or 9 nights Staybridge/BV Palace/Hilton Disney Springs... £1400! We just have to persuade ourselves to move offsite! Will be onsite in DVC for 12 nights anyway SD

I’ve sent a whatsapp to
Virgin to see what our options are. Text our dvc contact to see what happens with moving to next year and hope Disney offer an amazing discount and we can push everything to May. Are people confident it will be some sort of normality by May?

Flying LGW to Tampa on the 12th September and staying in a villa in Cape Coral. We normally go to Rotonda but fancied a change.
If the flights go we go. OH rang our insurance company yesterday to confirm if we did catch this awful thing whilst there would we be covered. The answer was yes, they were very helpful. We did dither about whether to go or not, but we'll go. |

Cancelled my DVC booking today and now trying to rent out the points. Filled in the form to Virgin (again) asking to move my dates to next Sept and have cancelled my pre stay airport hotel.

In a similar situation however our flights leave on 1st October and are booked through netflights, still haven't officially heard if they have changed to Heathrow, Netflights have said we can move our flights to next year but as it's after the 30th Sept not sure if we will be charged to move as well as pay the extra and can't even go there till the flights are released. The amount we had paid to stay onsite with free dining seemed so expensive for a 2 week holiday for 3 adults when I booked it. However now it seems an absolute bargain compared to the same for next year. I have been looking at the cheaper resorts with paid for dining but had really come round to going a bit upmarket for once. My head is spinning everyday and I'm spending hours just looking at options. A crystal ball would be very helpful right now.😁

We have cancelled mnsshp and got a voucher for the deposits we paid, we've cancelled discovery cove and will get full refund as soon as its processed.
Not going now but waiting to see what Disney come up with before cancelling or moving to sept next year. Its BA that seems to be the bad guy by all accounts. Again we will wait and see if they cancel us. In the meantime we are going to lapland instead in December |
