Price check for a newbie please
Hi All
New to car hire prices so would like some advice please. 3 weeks car hire in August 2019. Price I'm being quoted is £691 for a standard SUV includes unlimited mileage, CDW, $1 million liability cover, 3rd party liability 0 excess and additional driver. Is this any good? Thanks |

OP. I have looked at your price and checked all the usual suspects such as Andy, Brits, Costco, Auto Europe, Netflights etc.
I cannot get near the price that Virgin have. If it was me I would get it booked.

As was pointed out to me for my dates you arrive when peak season pricing is in place and they charge that for the whole hire. From around the 16th prices with Alamo drop so may be worth swapping the car at disney around then. I priceed an suv from Tampa on the 15th for 17 days at over £800 but if we waited till midnight the price dropped by almost half.

Good post above.
I have checked with Brits and to hire an SUV from the 10th Aug to the 14th is the same price as to the 15th, 16th and 17th! A few £ can be saved over Virgins price, maybe a tenner but that will mean swapping the car out after a week. Virgin isn't hostage to price surges like most suppliers.
