British airways seat selection

Hi

Does anyone know if you get your seat selection money back on a future travel voucher or would you just lose your money if you changed flights for a later date?

You do get a FTV if that's what you request.

Technically it's non cancellable during normal times

I�ve read all the terms and conditions and it says non refundable this is what is confusing me. We would be happy with the money back as part of the future travel voucher just obviously don�t want to lose it if we decide to go at a later date.

I see that we would get a refund if the flight was cancelled but this would be just for changing the dates. We have booked for March but are debating changing to October depending on prices when the flights get released

When I was booking a few months ago, I asked BA what would happen to seat costs if I asked for a voucher. They told me for flight only the seats get added to your voucher, but for holidays the seats are a refund via method of payment rather than being added to your voucher.
