Rebooked EDI. BA voucher question

So I have cancelled and rebooked our custom trip flights and hotel.
Had booked LHR PA MCO both ways

At booking all closer airports were either more than one plane change or a lot more money.

I've kept my eye on Edinburgh as it's the closest airport to us, except Newcastle but those prices are crazy.

I've seen our exact dates change from £4530 to £4320 and yesterday they were £4209.

Down £320 is not a lot of difference but that's made the booking only £69 more than our London flights and Hubby will need at least one less day off work.

I honestly don't know why he was happy with that drive in the first place, I assume he wasn't listening to me haha.

So anyway.. I requested a travel voucher from BA about 30 minutes before booking our new trip. How long to the emails take with the code ?

2nd Aug to 23rd Aug.
These are flights with 4 hour layovers in Philadelphia both ways. On the way back it's between 5pm and 9pm so we can grab dinner.
4 adults and a 14 year old. With 6 nights at Cabana Bay at the end of our trip.
Cabana bay is showing as £940 in Travel Republic.
So 3250 for flights including hold baggage for all.

All flights with AA so all seats already booked for no additional cost.
650 pp for indirect flights is crazy talk but I guess that's the way 2022 is.

We booked very same flights last week. Makes a difference landing us side so we come out of mco as internal.

Always done indirect, not much hassle to change planes and saves a fortune direct.

New Dreamliner planned on that route, like the 2 seats at the back and free seats!

Oh really ? I honestly feel much better about these flights.

We have booked those seats. Last row of 3 and the row of 2 just behind.

I really wanted to fly on the TUI dreamliner last time but Thomas Cook was just too cheap to pass up.
