Ios update now ALL my passwords need changing?!

Same here every time I go on my hotmail I have to inout password Amazon flagged up data had been breached had to change password only happened since iOS update

chrome does the same. most people tend to use the same couple of passwords for everything. THIS IS A BAD IDEA!

personally i use lastpass - lastpass/
although a lot of my friends use 1password - 1password/
keepass is a good free alternative if you want to set up your own thing, but it takes a bit of effort. personally, the lastpass free version is enough for the average user, but i pay for premium ($3 a month) - family accounts are also available.

a password manager is essential these days, and the app on my phone/browser plugin for desktops means i always have my passwords available, and pretty much everything is a secure randomly generated password, so if one of the sites gets compromised, everything else is still ok

for example, my amazon account password is 2J44&S4yhW7Zc@rBVjNU@34s

my ebay password is 8bJ6CWVmUg*W@v5cwpGuw58X

and lastpass just fills it all in for you.

(they arent really the passwords, but you get the idea!)
