Car Boot Sales

Once again, thanks to everyone for the replies. I'm not big into car boot sales (and for all those on the DIBB who are, please do not take any offence) but the father in law loves them. It's his first time to the USA (although he is widely travelled) and I thought if we could go to a car boot/garage sale etc he would find it interesting.

We are in Florida from the beginning of September, and we were there last year and did all the theme parks etc. This year I anticipate we'll have more free time and so was just looking at doing different things hence the interest in a mornings outing to a Floridian car boot etc.

hi there is one every sunday at the fairground west colonial drive,we go sometimes for a mooch around.

Look out for little signs at the side of the road for yard sales. We went to one last year,round the corner from the Vila community. Dh was a bit unsure about just pulling onto someone's property,but it was a lovely older couple who had a few cool bits and pieces.

There are two flea markets in Kissimmee. They aren't as popular as they used to be. The one on the East side is very vacant of vendors. The one on the West side is some bigger. There are also the Garage Sales, Yard Sales mostly on weekends. There is an Auction every weekend in Saint Cloud that he may like. If you'd like other suggestions on things to do there are several. Not far from the Auction is Peghorn Nature Park. It has trails and a cracker village. Near the the West flea market is the Pioneer Museum showing you the early lives of the settlers. In between the two if you like adventure and nature is Orlando Airboat Tours. You an make a day of shopping, walking and riding. Something that should appeal to everyone. Good Luck.
