Traffic in LA

We are traveling from Torrance to Anaheim there and back on same day by Uber. It says it takes about 30 mins. I know traffic in LA is notoriously bad. Anyone do this route. Its mainly traveling along the south end and I was wondering/hoping traffic wouldn't be as bad down there :/

As long as you avoid commuter hours you should be okay. I’d still allow for 40-50 mins though to be on the safe side.

Thanks but unfortunately arriving will be bang on commuter hours as wanna be there for about 8:30 am. Hopefully won't be sat in a car for hours as out precious park hours swindle away
Thanks for reply x

40 minutes upwards, in rush hour I'd be giving an hour at least as its around 30 miles away. Better to be early than starting feeling frustrated.

Thanks, I'll aim to be in cab for about 7/7:15. Only have 2 days for the 2 parks so don't wanna miss anything. Heading back doesn't matter as kids will sleep. Appreciate your help

We are just back having spent the last 4 days in the LA area. We found that we had to multiply the supposed time by 3 as the traffic was really heavy.

Well my experience of LA is if it says 30 mins it’s more likely to take 90 .

This is interesting. We’re on a bus down to San Diego leaving at 10am on a weekday. We’re staying in Hollywood so I’m guessing we should allow around 90 mins to get there...
