Disney Springs and Magic Bands

Hi all.

Looking for some clarification before we go to Disney World next month. Can you use your magic bands in the Disney Springs stores and restaurants?

I've read somewhere that everywhere except the cinema accepts magic bands, and elsewhere I've read that you need cash / card in all the stores.

Can someone confirm?

I paid in disney store and pandora on my magicband in November. Think alot of places around DS accept magicband

Anywhere that has the Mickey 'touch' payment devices allow you to pay on your Magic Band, so they're in all Disney shops, but not all of the third party shops have them. I would definitely take a card/cash to Disney Springs just to be on the safe side.

You can also use them in the Disney Character Warehouse at Vineland Outlets

For 2 weeks we didnt use any cash while on the Disney complex, magic band for everything. I believe that the Disney policy is now that everywhere has to accept the magic band.

On the map they give you there is a symbol that shows you which ones.
