Yes, have always used one, how on earth do people clean the loo without a brush

Fill the holder with a bit of bleach and Zoflora disinfectant, and change the brush every few months, they are so cheap to replace.

Right. Listen up.
Firstly clean the loobowl thoroughly. Let it dry. Then use a silicone based high quality car polish and coat the inside surfaces down to the waterline, then publish off. Then use a small sachet of Supaguard paint protector let dry then polish off.
For the next six or so months nothing will stick! one flush all is gone.
Excellent after a Saturday night Vindaloo

Just use someone else in the family’s toothbrush.

But yes, Zoflora disinfectant is good stuff , we have that in our brush bowl. I couldn’t think of the name until you posted!

My husband thought I was crazy when I bought 3 toilet brushes for our new house and he was instructed not to use them as they’re for display

What happens if one of your guests use one?

We genuinely had a guest who was open enough to say so I shouted not to use it and to put some bleach down there afterwards

Can't believe there are five pages of this thread and nobody has mentioned the Duck Fresh Brush! Flushable brush heads so no lingering germs but still all the scrubby power of a brush! Cannot imagine not having them!

The refills have duck liquid cleaner in them too so it turns toilet cleaning into a 1 minute job, easy peasy.

I mentioned them on page 4!
Love them but they are not good for toilets, drains etc

Ahh, missed that

For some reason I never considered the drains issue before! Can't believe it didn't occur to me as I'm always very careful not to flush baby wipes, etc but I never gave these a second thought! Going to start discarding the heads into a rubbish bag instead, I think.
