Alamo Pricing

So I’ve been following the thread about the choice of standard SUVs at MCO with interest. We are off next May and I checked some prices today with Discount Florida Car Hire (our preferred choice - we’ve used Andy before). For our fortnight, the price for an intermediate SUV is £495 and a standard SUV is £496. Do you think maybe Alamo are trying to phase out the standard selection and amalgamate them with the intermediates? Also when looking at a full size SUV, the price was £768. Surely they’re not that much bigger are they? None of it makes sense to me.

That's a crazy price for a fortnight. I'm paying £391 for a full size for the same timescale.

Do you mind me asking who is that with? The prices I found are also with a full to empty tank and up to four drivers. I agree the full size price is ridiculous.

OP. Prices for next year are nuts at the moment with most 3rd party suppliers. I need a 27 day hire in May and Virgin Atlantic want £1007. Brits wants £1622!

However for a Premium Elite SUV with Hertz its £803 - but I wont pay that either!

I am monitoring at the moment but will jump soon on a company that does free cancellations.
