Silicon Valley (and mike judge/office space/idiocracy)

anyone else watch it? the new season is currently one of my favourite ones yet! Mike Judge is one of my favourite writer/directors of all time, between this, office space and idiocracy, plus beavis and butthead/king of the hill - he has consistently produced some of the best entertainment of the last 20 years

if you dont know silicon valley, its about a startup tech company and how the big corporations keep swallowing the smaller tech companies, and now it's come full circle with pied piper's recent acquisition. its one of the funniest shows of the last 10 years, and if you can, i suggest giving it a try. especially if youre a geek who works in the industry (like me)

this is the trailer for the current season (showing on HBO) - not sure how you can watch it in the uk, but its probably on netflix...

*edit*
its on sky atlantic - geektown/tvairdates/silicon-valley/

nobody else watch this then? the last season was *so* good!

russ the redeemer was one of the greatest moments of tv ever. and jian yang! wow, he is one of my favourite characters on a tv show *ever* - his inst story the other day was this...

(it wont make any sense until you watch the whole thing though. but trust me, it's a genius-level post!)

we finished the last episode a week ago, and have been binging the old episodes too, currently halfway through season 4 again, and noticing all sorts of things we missed last time.

in other mike judge news, check out his recent "tales from the tour bus" series

some amazing stories

I started watching this through Now tv a few weeks ago, think I am on season 5 and I am really enjoying it. Gavins signature on his box was the best 😂

YES!

Been watching since it first came out. Sad that it's ended.

One of my all-time favourite shows (I'm a software engineer, currently working in a tech startup... The other day they were talking about the fact they want to get to a £1bn valuation and I was like "tres commas", to which half the people in the room fell on the floor laughing and the other half just started blankly!)

So many good characters in this show and consistently hilarious the whole way through.

Always blue!
