I’m not sure what changes today really. I thought most of us expected US was probably going to be Amber... and probably nothing announced by Biden much before G7, I suspect he’ll be hoping by waiting that little bit longer the situation pan-Europe will be a bit better too... ergo he doesn’t need to annoy good old Ursula when he says ‘U.K. can come in, but not EU’.

One of the many barriers has lowered... at least it’s no longer illegal to go on holiday; that’s a pretty significant start 😂

Are you all happy to wait until the very last minute or is there a cut iff point when you will move your holiday?
As there are 5 of us, two of which have medical needs we need time to prepare etc
We need at least a months notice so if its all still up in the air by the 10th June then we will have to move the holiday.
At what point will you decide?

To be honest, if i am told the day before that i can go then i will. Mental health and work stress (Freight/Logistics) from the past year with brexit etc. . has been a real killer for me and I desperately need to recharge.

Todays news wasnt unexpected but I still feel a tad deflated.

I understand Virgin will need at least a months notice to start some routes. Certainly from places like Manchester where they currently have no planes and limited staff. I would of thought July flights will be cancelled from mid June onwards if we don't get a positive announcement by then

We can change our flights up to 14 days before going so I'm planning on holding off changing them for as long as possible. I've looked at rebooking for later just in case but prices are much higher and we are stuck within school holiday time.
