Great news let’s hope the new strain doesn’t impact our stats and they open the border, in time for our September trip 👍

Or the less mask wearing increases their cases!

Disney to ease mask restrictions

Similar to the announcement from Universal yesterday Disney now confirmed masks won't be required outdoors.

Does anyone know if universal do this?
I read an article that said that most restaurants weren’t enforcing this. I don’t think it really took off by the sounds of it as it’s not been mentioned much since March. Hopefully with this latest news it would drop off anyway?

No masks?

I like it, I'm going to call it 'The New Normal' ;-)

I'm cautiously optimistic for mid September and this was a game changer for me. I'm still not sure the US will allow us in though with the Indian variant news from yesterday.

Universal Studios have put up an Instagram post saying same (masks only need to be worn in indoor locations like hotels, shops, restaurants). Great news for anyone currently booking their holidays.

Just to clarify they still have to be worn on attractions and in attraction queues too. It is only when walking around that they can be left off. This applies to both Disney and Universal
