We have eaten at them all outwith the Parks. Plus I know my constant mentioning of Jiko's has influenced people.
We probably eat at Jiko's 10 times a year.
Jiko's
Artist Point
Citricos
Those are the best 3 in our view
Flying Fish. They took the potato snapper off the menu. Noooo. Until its back they wont see me! Awesome food though
Never eaten at Brown Derby but the reviews speak for themselves, brilliant.
Yachtsman, loads of mediocre reviews over the last year especially from well respected Dibbers
CG. Iconic but better food out there, especially since the refurb and they lost the Sushi Chef on her retirement.

I'm going in March, and have booked Cali Grill (been several times), Citricos (never been, heard great things), Jiko (Mr.Tom's fault), and Yachtsman (also been several times). I also read a review of the CG brunch on easywdw, and booked within an hour of reading. Looks amazing.

We also had a day eating round the world at Food & Wine Festival (using snack credits) so no TS that day. And we stayed at Universal for 2 nights in the middle of the holiday too. So it was really easy to free up the credits for Signatures.

In order of preference mine would be:

1. Jiko. Not just for the menu but the beautiful restaurant - the lighting changes over the evening to mirror an African day.

2. Yachtsman - my ribeye was utterly superb, and I dream of the onion rolls.

3. Artist Point - good chance for a nosey round Wilderness Lodge, and good food - buffalo strip steak and berry cobbler were delicious

4. Hollywood Brown Derby - did it for lunch with the Fantasmic dining package. Luxurious and elegant, and the grapefruit cake is to die for

5. Flying Fish Cafe - although I haven't been since the refurb and it may have changed. I gather they no longer do the wonderful potato wrapped red snapper, which is a shame

6. California Grill - last but one on my list, because although the food was lovely, it was very busy, rushed and noisy. I would give it another chance though.

7. Fulton's Crab House - reopening soon as Paddlefish I think? I hope it has improved because it's really the only Signature I wouldn't rush back to.

For future visits we want to try Narcoosees and Citricos. Not sure about Le Cellier, it gets mixed reviews. And I believe some of the newer restaurants are Signatures but we haven't had a chance to try them.
I was thinking of the Brown Derby for the fantasmic package. Had a look at Jiko's and it does look and sound lovely. I cant book our ADR's until May but need to have it straight in my head so that I can start to plan out which restaurants on which day. I'm a big fan of seafood so Flying Fish sounds appealing as well.

You certainly must be a big fan of Jiko's. Its definitely going on the list and I hope Flying Fish take note of your protest because the snapper sounds delicious. lol

Brown Derby was our best meal last trip. Lovely restaurant. I wouldn't use credits if you're doing the fantasmic package though as it's not good value at $65pp fixed price. (Great value paying oop though)

Another question please.
I know if you use 2 credits at Signatures you are still only entitled to 1 x non alcoholic drink, 1 x entrée and 1 x desert but are you allowed to order any entrée or are there restrictions.
Thanks again.

We don't have the DDP but I do know there were just a few restrictions. For example you couldn't have the steak & lobster dish at Narcoossee's. However that has been discontinued as an entree. I'm fairly certain there aren't any restrictions left now.

Glad to hear it. I was worried in case it had to be under $30 or something silly like that. I have expensive taste. lol

Yes it sounds like it will definitely be DDP credits for 3 and i'll check out menus and do the two least expensive oop. I have to keep remembering to add tip to expense as well.
Thank you.
