CRT & 180 Days (and 180 + 10!)

Hi all

OK so I checked my signature this weekend and noted its now 187 days until our holiday. PANIC!

I still haven't booked WDW tickets yet in the vain hope of the 21 day tickets coming down in price. This doesn't seem to be happening so I think I will need to take the plunge this week.

I am however very worried now about the 180 day bookings, particularly Cinderella's Royal Table.

This is a must for us so I know I need to book it as soon as I am able.

Please can someone in the know help me with some questions?

1. Do I need to have booked WDW tickets to make a reservation at CRT?

2. Can the booking be made from 180 days before the START of our holiday or does it have to be 180 before before the ACTUAL date I would like to have dinner there?

3. Does 180 days + 10 only apply to on site reservations? We are staying off site.

Basically we'd like to have dinner there on 10th August 2017 and I am trying to work out what's best to do.

No, you don't need to have booked your tickets to be able to make ADR'S. CRT requires pre payment up front, and as you are staying off site you can only book at 180 days out. You only get the +10 advantage if staying on site.

Is there any advantage to having booked my tickets when booking CRT?

So if I have read this correctly I can only book exactly 180 days before the day I want to go to CRT, not the date of the start of my holiday?

i.e. if I want to got on 10th August 2017 I need to book exactly 180 days prior to that date?

You don't need tickets in order to make ADRs, so don't worry about that.

As you're offsite, you'll need to make the reservation at 180 days before the date you want to eat. The DIBB ADR calculator is really handy for figuring out the date you can book: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/adr_calculator.php

I can't seem to book cinderellas table our 180 days plus 10 started yesterday it just says call to book? I have managed to book all the other restaurants we are staying in Disney with the dinner plan?

Are you trying on the app or website version? If on the app, then try the website version. I've just done a dummy booking for 15th July and it was all okay. If you're still not having any joy, then call them:
0800 16 90 748

Thanks it's on the app, on the web version I can do it but only gives 180 in advance not the extra ten

Try logging out and in to mde again to see if it refreshes. If not, then give them a call.

No, there is no advantage or need to have booked your tickets before making your ADR's.
Yes, you can make your ADR's at exactly 180 days before you want to eat at that restaurant. You can book online from 11am, or call from 12 noon.
