No you don't need to. They won't charge the no show unless none of you turn up.
I think it is now possible to amend reservations on MDE but I haven't tried it so I don't know how easy it is to do or whether there's a risk of losing your original booking. |

You don't have to let them know but if you don't its worth letting them know when you check in that your party size has changed.
As you know in advance that less of you are going you could call and let them know so they can allocate a smaller table/free up the larger one but you may have to call to do that. We've had a few where due to illness some of us couldn't go at the last minute and it was never a problem. |
