Day Four
Breakfast this morning was once again at Applebees as it provided such good value for money. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, ham and cheese omelette and a times square slam.
We walked the Highline today and stopped off for a quick snack at Pax Foods. I had a Red Velvet Cupcake which was huge and cost $4.49. It was very dry and I only ate about half of it. We opted for Buffalo Wild Wings for the evening. We ordered a small sized medium wings and a medium sized boneless medium wings with sides of cheese curds and potato wedges. This was really good but rather expensive, probably double the price of what it is in Orlando. |

Day Five
Our flight to Orlando was cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew so we had to spend two days in New Jersey. There wasn't much around so we ordered Dominos which I must have forgotten to photograph so all I have from this day is some photos of donuts
We ordered two seasonal specials which were just plain with coloured icing and one caramel apple cronut. All of these were great. That was that for New York, on to Orlando next... |

Day Six
So we finally managed to get a flight and made it to Orlando. We checked in pretty early and headed straight for CityWalk.
First stop, Panda Express. We shared a large plate which was three entrees. We went for double orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. This was so good, and the kung pao chicken was pretty spicy. Also a bargain at around $10.99, we shared between 3 as a snack. Longhorns was up for the evening The server said he was going to get bread, then never returned with it. But we ordered 2 x 8oz Fillet and a 10oz Ribeye with Caesar Salads. For some reason I don't have a photo of the fillet but I've been advised that it was really good. I had the Ribeye and it was a bit fatty but good other than that. I had a Raspberry Lemonade with it which was awesome! |

Day Seven
We were up for early entry to Universal so grabbed breakfast at the Bayliner Diner at Cabana Bay. We were pretty impressed with this, there was plenty of choice and the prices were reasonable.
I went for a bagel with cream cheese, a yoghurt and a fruit juice. Late morning we went to Florean Fortescue where we shared an ice cream cup. We went for sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel blondie. This was really nice, I had the soft serve last year but I much preferred the hard scoop. We headed over to BreadBox for lunch. I'd highly recommend this place, it's really good value and the sandwiches were both huge and tasty! You also get a choice of fries or tater tots with your sandwich. 4 Cheese Melt with tater tots Beef Patty Melt with fries NY Style Pastrami with tater tots We decided to go to Millers Ale House on I-Drive in the evening. I know this place has had mixed reviews but we really enjoyed it and both the food and drink is incredibly cheap. We found the atmosphere in there to be nice too. We got the Zinger Mountain Melt, Cheeseburger and Grilled Chicken. All were great, piping hot and came out in good time, can't fault the place. |

Day Eight
We spent the day in IOA again and for some reason, all I have to show for it are the Cookie Dough Dippin Dots and a Bud Light...
In the evening we went for NBC Sports Grill & Brew. I wanted to visit here last year but never got round to it. It was AMAZING. The beer and cider choices alone were vast, I went for the Pineapple Cider and this was so good. Can't wait to return next year just for that! We then ordered a chicken and bacon flatbread (this was a starter (! ) but ordered as a main), 'The Bratwurst' burger and 'The Combo' which was ribs, brisket and pulled pork. This meal was so good and I think it will remain my point of call in CityWalk from now on. We then went over to Toothsome Chocolate Factory to check out the Ganache. |

Day Nine
This was our moving to Disney day so we were up early and stopped at Dennys for breakfast first.
We went for the Sticky Bun Pancake Breakfast: Grand Slam Slugger: Banana Pecan Pancake Breakfast: Can't beat a Dennys! We then made our way over to the Disney Area, checked in, had a pool day and then headed over to Disney Springs early evening. We had a frozen lemonade from a kiosk whilst walking round which was very refreshing. We had an ADR at House of Blues for the evening, which is somewhere I had wanted to try for a while. We loved it, we found that the prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. Would certainly recommend it. We went for Soul Cluckin' Good with Tater Tots and Mac and Cheese: The other two both had the Jambalaya Bayou Bowl with a side of fries. They said this was really good but the portion was HUGE! We then shared a Key Lime Pie for dessert: But yes, thoroughly recommend House of Blues at Disney Springs, it's not too difficult to get an ADR for either as you can book on their own website I believe. |
