I know what you mean. We said it was like you were not watching a film, but watching a documentary about someone's life.

The characters were truly believable.

Fantastic, I wasn't too keen on going but my friend wanted to see it so I just tagged along to keep her company and I was blown away it really is a wonderful film with outstanding performances.

I've seen it twice so far and going again this weekend... it's one of those films that you can't stop thinking about. The performances all round are incredible!

Loved the first 60 minutes but thought it dragged second half. Not helped by being in a nearly empty cinema but could hear women a few rows behind who started crying around 10 minutes before a scene I won't spoil.

Oh! my! Days!

Went to watch this is weekend and though it was mesmerising!

At first I wondered where it could go and wasn't sure how the story would pan out.

I also had a woman behind me crying her eyes out, saw her in the toilets after, she had proper lost it 😂😂

I keep thinking of the film and the fantastic acting and music.

The scene at the end was filmed just after she got back on set after going to see her best friend who was dying. She had left the set and got there 10 minutes after she had died. She went back and filmed the last song. The emotion you saw in the film was real and the words even more poignant.

I watched the 1976 version last night and enjoyed it. It was good to see the similarities.

An amazing film, I'm so glad I went to see it... I admit I did cry though and even dh who I persuaded to come with me had some tears 😢. Truly fantastic acting, I can't stop thinking about it.

DH and I both saw this yesterday and loved it. I don't cry normally but still had a tear in my eye. Loved the music and dh is already considering watching it again.

I went with the wife as my son was on a movie date ... he's only 13 where did the time go

Anyway I loved the film but could see the ending a mile off but I'm guessing that was intentional, I hadn't seen or heard any of the previous two iterations the 1976 or 1937 versions.

I thought Lady GaGa was superb what a talented young woman she is.

That scene with her singing in the drag club was sensational my mouth was dry.

The soundtrack is stuck in my head I love the shallow track
