Galaxy's Edge reservations
So during late May to the end of July, if you are planning to visit GE in Disneyland you need a (free) 4-hour reservation slot. With me so far?
But if you have a reservation in one of the 3 Disney hotels, you will be allocated a slot for use during your stay there, and emails to tell you of your slot are going out around now. However, Disney have farmed out the job of setting up the time slots and emailing guests to a third party company, in a country a long way away from them. I don't know where this is, but apparently their time zone is almost a day ahead of California time. What this means is that people are getting time slots for times when they won't even have arrived at Disney yet! Disney have now set up a recorded message on their phoneline to say they are addressing the issue, so fingers crossed they can get this sorted out! Disney don't often get things wrong, but when they do, they sure make a big job of it!

Apologies, you are right - it is between May 31 and June 23. No idea why I got the month wrong!
Sorry about that.

Sorry if I’m not understanding but in order to get one of these slots do you need to be staying at the Disney hotels? If not how do you get one?

Reservations for non hotel guests opened today at 18:00 BST on disneyland website.
It took exactly an hour of patience but got through for preferred dates and time. You require to set up a Disney account prior to reserving, and they send an email to validate the account. Up to 6 six guests (including Disney account holder) can be booked together |

Bet you are excited! Did you have to have tickets linked to your account? We dont go until July but just wondered in case they extend this in some way!

No requirement to link tickets. These were bought previously. Pleased to secure a visit, but expect crowds will be mad.
Was at HS for Toy Story Land opening last year, so struck lucky again |
