Parade times in dec
We've been to dlp a number of times now but never in Dec. Normally when we've gone and I've booked dining reservations I've made them for 6pm. We found this a good time as we watched parade then went to eat and had time to go back for fireworks. In the winter months is the parade earlier than 5pm? I'm trying to work out the best time to make reservations for our trip in Dec. I was thinking 5pm so we could catch parade then fireworks after. What time does the park close in Dec is it 7pm

The park tends to close at various times throughout December ranging from 7pm - 10pm, depending on the day of the week and the date. They won't release the December 2020 park hours for a while yet but you can get an idea of park times by looking at last year:
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/par...?hours=12+2019 The Parade is normally on between 4.30-5.30 based on past years. |

Thanks. What time would you eat? If you were making reservations?

Thanks for that. When we've gone in previous years we watched parade then ate about 6.30 then went back in later for fireworks. That's always been in spring summer though.

When we went in December, we sometimes had our main meal in the mid afternoon (only when the parks closed at 8pm / 10pm, as this took up valuable park time when the hours were quite short). On two of our days, the parks closed at 6pm, so we ate after that. Once, we ate in Inventions and watched the fireworks from our table, which was lovely. Another time, we watched the fireworks in the park first, then ate around 7pm.
It was a bit of a mixture, depending on the opening hours. We had 6pm, 8pm and 10pm closures that week, so planned our meal times accordingly.
