POFQ or CBR - what's best for AKL FOP Rope Drop?

We're hoping to book for May 2020 but I keep fluctuating between POFQ and CBR so I'm looking at less obvious factors to see if that tips the balance.

So, last time we stayed at AKL which was great for EMH and getting on FOP with minimal queuing, plus we had FPs for it. FOP was eldest DS' favourite ride so I know he'll be all about going on that. Are either of these hotels likely to better than the other for getting to AKL in good time to be near the front of the rope drop queue?

Looks like CBR is physically nearer to animal kingdom on maps - have stayed at both and in all honesty can't say I noticed a major time difference in the bus ride over.

Thanks for the reply, good to know you've not noticed a difference. I've booked CBR today so it's done now. No more second guessing my decision!
