Mobile Refund question

We moved our holiday from Easter to October, it’s not cancelled yet but I’m assuming it will be

Does anyone know how refunds work when we used two cards to pay?

Majority was paid on my debit card but the initial deposit was paid on my credit card which has expired

Do they ask which card to put the refund back onto?

Thank you in advance

I think they refund to the last used card rather than asking. That's always been my experience anyway

If an amount over £100 was paid on the Credit Card you apply for the whole lot back on that.

It makes no difference how many Credit Cards you used or even if they are expired/closed as the 'issue' is when the transaction was made. Therefore at that time it was a valid Card.

I had a very complicated issue with our cancelled May flight
  • Flight booked on my Card
  • Seat upgrade outbound booked on a Card held by my Wife that we then closed as she wasn't using it.
  • Seat upgrade inbound booked on yet another Card

I submitted 3 claims. Monies refunded promptly. However I still have all the money sat in the accounts so must get it transferred to the Bank when I have time.

Best of luck.

When it was looking likely my summer jet2 holiday would be cancelled, I paid balance and changed my payment method from credit card to debit card, hoping they would refund the entire amount to the bank should they cancel. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, they can only refund the installments back to the origin from which they were paid. So I got my last payment refunded to my debit card, but the rest went back on the credit card

Just to add another experience. We paid our flights on two cc and assumed our cancelled flights would be paid onto one or both of these. However a cheque arrived today for the full amount
Very happy with this.
