Gran Destino or Animal Kingdom Lodge

Just as it says in the title really. If both were the same price, both standard not savannah which would you choose for an adult only stay? Anyone stayed at these before?

Gran Destino - Excellent location and new
AKL - Most unique resort and a huge chance of getting a partial Savannah view.

If you were booking a non ticket package then I would do a split stay. Otherwise I would have to go AKL. Loved the unique theme.

We have stayed at both and would go for AKL without hesitation. Tbh we didn�t really like Coronado, but we were not in the tower.

AKL every time.
Great restaurants, bars and grounds for an Adult only stay.
Plus very short drive / taxi ride to loads of offsite restaurants etc.

GD - we stayed there and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the new restaurants are superb, especially the lake one. We really like Hollywood Studios so it was a great location.
We went to AKL and it's great but the buses are ages away from anywhere (apart from AK of course).
