Mmm, what are your August dates as I'm seeing that Van cheaper than you are quoting. I used a 14th to 28th date and got £1277.
Edit. And the same price for 1 week earlier.

Dates are 13th to 27th. I saw £1277 fully inclusive but £1411 for the tank of fuel and 3 extra drivers plus GPS.

If you need 4 drivers that's not bad. For the fuel and GPS alone then no it's not.
Pity you can't manage with the 2 drivers as that would save you £134.

Thanks for the help. Have booked it now and will monitor prices between now and next year and can always cancel/rebook if prices come down.

Just looked at VH for 2023 (2 weeks mid May) and they are quoting around £700 with gold cover for an intermediate SUV. That seems pricey to me though i can't quite recall what we paid for a full size suv in 2019 but i'm sure it was much cheaper than that. I know prices are high at the moment but what did they used to be a couple of years back ?

when we come to book again will definitely give Andy a shout. Hopefully by then prices will be a touch more sensible. it was significantly cheaper back in 2019 but i can't remember by roughly what percentage.. i just can't accept pushing on £700 for 2 weeks car hire for an intermediate SUV.
