Anyone about that can tell me how much they pay their window cleaner
Hi
we have someone coming to quote us this morning for window cleaning and I won't have a clue whether the quote is right - what do people pay these days please, and for what size house. Thanks so much!

£12 for 4 bed detached. French doors and 2 large bays. Think it also depends on whether it's a traditional window cleaner with a ladder or the kind that just waves a pole about while he's chatting on his mobile.
We have the pole waver, although to be fair he seems to do an OK job.

Great - that's so helpful. Thank you. I googled average cost of window cleaner and it said £46 for a 3 bed house and I panicked a bit. We had a window cleaner in our old house - I'm going back ten years I think and he charged £6! So I was a bit out of touch. Thanks all!

£20 for a 4 bed detached. Uses a pole. Only used to pay £15 for a guy with ladders and he did a much better job, but, he was too unreliable.:wavey

It really depends on where you live.
We have 8 average size windows like this: Plus 3 small windows, 2 very large windows (around 14/15 ft wide) & patio doors. Cost £9.50 But we do live ‘up north’ so that’s possibly cheap? If you mention the county, where you live, you might get better results. |
