We've done it twice (in 2012 and 2017) and really enjoyed it both times. It's great being able to get close to the giraffes and feed them (although giraffes are a particular favourite of mine so maybe I'm biased).

We’ve done it as a freebie on our annual passes throughly enjoyed it
My advice either pre book a mid morning slot or see what’s available on the day as we do with tours / experiences at Busch
Mostly because we tend to weather watch for our days at Busch as the park can come to a standstill if there’s rain or thunder within 6 miles
But if it’s your first visit there is loads to see and do anyway

We’ve done it twice-an amazing experience!I would also recommend early morning,we went in August, and it was so hot though that a teenager fainted on the truck.

Early for me also. The Giraffes just seem more alert… and hungry!
By afternoon, they may be conserving their energy.. and full of lettuce.
