None. I would rather book everything myself, I would have to be doing a very unusual or difficult holiday, like hiking across the Amazon rainforests, to even contemplate using an agent. I can see no reason to use one for such a simple holiday as Florida.

100% this. (Although I'm only hiking across the Amazon rainforests if they can guarantee the weather will be sunny … )

For many years I used Virgin holidays, then ocean Florida. Last year diy. This year just booked with ocean Florida again, they were a better price than diy.

I have done diy and I have used TAs. If I can book with a TA for near enough same price then may as well have the protection and everything in one place for ease. We have booked with my magic holidays for this time too and they have been fantastic - cannot fault their customer service.

To answer your question we have used Tui and Virgin as well as Thomas Cook over the last 6 years, always flying from Manchester.

To buck the trend of the thread, we’ve used TUI twice and they were fine. Booking separately definitely has its advantages.

Don’t see the point in using travel agents, just do it all yourself

I'm about to start booking thing and just need some reassurance... I'm thinking of booking 14 day combo tickets and a mix of accommodation (Disney, Universal and a villa). If I book one of the Universal hotels where you get early entry and express passes, will this work if I've bought the tickets from so someone else? I presume so but hoping someone can confirm. Thanks.

Another vote for Mattie and Myah at MyMagicHolidays.
We were in the same situation with 2020 disney holiday with TC flights which they have sorted and now have virgin flights and all the other elements secure. Having that ATOL protection and their expertise was worth it - albeit their cost was the same as if I had done DIY !
