That’s the complicated part, one was a companion flight and other a reward flight, so separate bookings, but linked when I did it.

But the bid system doesn’t link them!

So I go upper which was 1st choice at £380! And wife was 2nd choice PE at £196.

I asked if I could just pay the difference but they said I’d have to wait til I get to the desk.

Spot on. I don’t think people would be suggesting it. Tbh DH could have upper as I’m only 5’2” and he’s 6’2” so would benefit more from the extra space. I’d hope he would bring me a cocktail down.
