Mobile Disney Christmas - end of Nov v start of Dec

Hi Everyone
Planning for next year (yay) & was wondering whether there is anything more Christmassy at Disney that we would miss by leaving the weekend of 1 Dec as opposed to 8 Dec.

It seems the decorations and story tellers at Epcot start just after thanksgiving but does anyone know of anything we'd miss out on?

You won't miss out at Disneyworld. It all starts as you say just aftee thanksgiving.
I think universal doesn't start their Christmas celebrations until the beginning of December.

I can't think of anything and I'm a late Nov - mid Dec veteran. A few years ago they used to record the Christmas Day parade in MK the first weekend in Dec & the Main St tree didn't go up until after parade taping but for the last 2 years taping has been early/mid Nov.

Also according to a travel expert friend I have, the first 2 weeks in December are always the cheapest time to travel almost anywhere because most folk want to fly nearer to Christmas to join their families etc
