Has anyone done this ? thinking of doing it sometime by car ;-) love a road trip

Done it 3 times but always flown .

Yes but the other way round. We flew in and out of Atlanta with BA. Our stops:-
Tupelo
Memphis
Vicksburg
New Orleans
Gulfport (Tornado stop)
Fort Walton Beach
Orlando onsite
St Augustine
Savannah
Atlanta
This was our 1st US road trip without kids and was fantastic - still needed our Disney fix!

Doing it in 10 days time. Flying up and then driving to Nashville to watch the green bay packers.

Done this more years ago than I care to remember ... in those days it was cheaper to fly charter into Sanford so we did a round trip from there. Today Atlanta would be a good start point.

Sanford ... all in 14 nights. A heck of a lot of driving ... in a Buick Skylark (great car) good times.
