It must have been such a shock however try to stay positive (I know easier said than done!). From what you have said they didn't say it was cancer it might just be that that's where it has been referred to investigate. As Tricia said above hers turned out not to be cancer even tho it was referred there. As others have also said if it is cancer then there are so many treatment options available now. However I think its the waiting which is scary as we're programmed to think the worst aren't we!

Fingers crossed and hoping for the best that they say its some kind of infection which they can treat easily xx

I think it’s the waiting game which is hard. We have just had our appointment for his PET scan which is Saturday 8th May. The bank holiday has delayed things. The waiting game is hard, but I have had such wonderful support and messages, it has really kept me going. Thanks for all your support and positive and caring words, can’t thank you all enough.
