How to use quick service dining credits?
My friend and I are going to Disneyworld in February 2017 and will be using the Quick Service Dining plan. Neither of us have used a Dining plan ever before and were wondering HOW we use it exactly?
We are aware of the number of credits we are entitled to and what they can be used for, but are unsure how to present these credits to the CM's when paying. Is it linked to our magic bands or do we get vouchers? Do we have to link it to our My Disney experience before we go? If so, how do we do this? Once we are there, is there a way of monitoring the amount of credits we have left as we go along? Thank you in advance for your help! |

The number of credits left is printed at the bottom of your receipt for a meal or snack credit. Or you can ask at the hotel reception for this information.

This is our first time on the QSDP aswell. As far as im aware you just scan your magic band at the till. You are not limited to how many you use a day so you could use them as quickly as you like. If you change any of your items say swop your dessert for an extra drink you just tell the CM at the till. You can also swop a meal credit for 3 snacks so say you don't fancy a large breakfast meal you could get a pastry, fruit and a coffee instead again just inform the CM. Your left over credits are listed on your receipt or reception can check it for you.
As for linking your MDE - it depends who you booked with, if Disney you can link your hotel to your MDE with your ref number, if you booked with say Virgin etc then you will need to get your flight locater number from them. I got mine and then rang disney to link it to my MDE. My hotel and QSDP details are listed on there, it doesn't say the credits just how many people are on the booking. |

Your credits are all accessible via your magic bands. When you order your meal tell the server you're on dining plan and order your meal/snack. You then scan your magic band and enter a PIN. You can set that up on MDE before you go. The server will keep your right with regards what you're entitled to.
Have a read of this thread I started for people new to dining plans http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=873045. |

quick service dead easy,
Go to the kiosk, on the quick service you are allowed a main course, a dessert and a drink, so burger with fries, chocolate brownie and a fountain soda, do the same for all your party, server tells you the total, you tell them you're on the dining plan, they scan your wrist band and you enter the pin, they give you a receipt tells you what you've used and what dining points you got left... collect and enjoy your meal, dead straight forward, like using chip and pin.

Don't forget you also get a refillable mug so you can use that when you get a qsdp meal not just at your resort but at any other Disney hotel counter service. You cannot use in parks though
