My sister books through Walker Mobility and includes the additional insurance just in case as you never know. She's only had one issue where the battery wouldn't charge and they replaced but she wasn't sure if this would have been covered anyway or whether this was done with the extra insurance

Always taken the extra insurance for peace of mind. Who knows what will happen? I've had one or two narrow escapes with a scooter and wouldn't like to think of the charges for damage. Other scooter users have come close to ramming me and I was nearly pushed out of the monorail once by the scooter behind when exiting as they went forward instead of backwards. The doors in front of me were open and there was no ramp in place.
I've left the scooter outside shops and restaurants and wonder sometimes if people are tempted to fiddle with it. I take the key out of course. That's why I insure them! |
