Boardwalk

I am on the waitlist for a studio at the boardwalk and have been since the 7 month window (DVC members) for 4th November for 4 nights... does anyone have a gut feeling if this might come trough for us or should I be looking around for somewhere else.

Do you have a home resort booked already? I just checked your dates on the resort availability tool and there is nothing for any resort for those dates. We are waitlisted too for The Boardwalk for a 1 bedroom for November but have our existing booking at Kidani.

No... I have nothing booked... my home resort is OKW and realise I should have booked that and then cancelled if the wait list came through.

I'd look around for something else. Are you w/l for a preferred? If the location is the main factor, I'd also w/l BCV as you might have more chance with that. Poly has just declared more inventory too apparently.

I have a 1 bedroom booked at BWV but am waiting for a studio at Boulder creek for 4 nights in Nov .Have been waitlisted since 7 month window and there is no availabilty anywhere .

I think I might be inclined to w/l SSR too which is the most likely to come through. At least then you aren't homeless.

A bit of good news... took your advice and checked the web site and the 6th November was available so rang member services booked the 6th and cancelled my wait list and created 2 new wait lists for 2 nights from the 4th and 1 night of the 8th. Now if night of 8th becomes available they will book it and I have a better chance of getting the 2 nights... but I will keep checking in case just one of them becomes available, does all that make sense
