So we have to sit it out or rebook? Trying to get through to BA is nigh on impossible. Keep getting cut off it's barmy, not everyone has time to dedicate to be calling BA all day long. Their online "chat" is utterly useless as its only a 'Bot'

So I’ve just done another search on London to MCO flights for 11-15 Oct as I have been for the last few days in the hope that they would be removed from sale to give us an indication of when to expect cancellation emails and I’ve notice the prices for those dates have more than doubled this morning - is that indicative of anything? Seems an odd thing to have happened?

I don't think so Amy. If you include the Saturday night, prices drop back down. Prices are typically always higher if you don't include the Saturday.

However, theory is right. BA may remove the cheaper fare buckets and leave only the expensive fully flex ones if they expect it not to fly.

Fingers crossed they'll be pulled this week for everyone.

The pricing has never really been a reflection of anything sadly. These price rises have been reported before but amounted to nothing as they ended up cancelled anyway. I imagine its possibly down to the supply/demand factor IF travel was suddenly allowed.

Does anyone have any insight please on what happens when you have a connecting flight? I'm hoping they cancel the lot. Our departure flight on Oct 21 is from Heathrow to Philadelphia, then we connect to MCO. On the way back we are direct from MCO to Heathrow. Thank you

You only need to have 1 leg cancelled to be able to cancel/refund the whole booking.
